What are the largest wheels and tires size that I can fit in my 97 civic without rubbing?

you can get 17"x7'-7.5" rims in there without any modifications or problems. Then the tires will probably be 205/40/17...



I never have seen any problems with rubbing or causing issues besides a little less MPG with 17" rims on civics of that generation



I have seen 18" rims on civics, but they do tend to cause some rubbing issues, and the tires will be of too low of a profile leading to easily denting/bending the rim.What are the largest wheels and tires size that I can fit in my 97 civic without rubbing?
19 with low pros and possibly 20 but thats pushing it.
