I need to know what size tires I can buy for my Mustang. It has the original wheels. They are 1997 Ford Mustang 15" x 7" Alloy Wheels. I want to go with a lower profile and a wider tire if I can. Right now they have 205/65 R15 tires. What other sizes can I do?What size tires will fit these wheels?
The widest I would go on a 7inch wheel would be a 205 or a 215 max.
You can go wider on the vehicle, but the lack of "width" on the wheel will limit you in how wide you can go.
