Is the offset of the wheels the diameter of rims + tires?

I own an E350 and about to receive from a friend (no purchasing) a set of CL63 wheels w/ tires 245/40 front and 265/35 rear. Someone out there knows if those wheels are affordable to my E Class.


Other,I have seen one 2010 M3 (BMW) with that size and looks terrific.
