i changed my low pro wheels and tires on a 2003 Ford Escape to 18" Ford Flex stock wheels and Michelin tires with about 50% tread left.
i started out noticing a metal clanging noise when i went over bumps. Also kind of a churning noise from the wheels-not tire noise. By the time i drove 20 miles home it now has a constant growling noise and the brakes grind bad when stopping on the front left. Wondering what could cause this if all i did was change wheels?|||maybe not enough clearance between the wheels and the caliper|||make sure you didn't cause any damage to your brake lines or linings. Also, check the park brake too. I would start there. Good luck!|||Your brakes are worn out. You should have had a look at them while the wheels were off.
