Will I need an alignment after putting on new tires & wheels?

My car is new...less than 3,000 miles driven on it. I wanted different wheels/rims so I bought them and new tires to go with them since they were a different size then the stock ones (not by much though). I made sure they were right for my car and everything but I was just wondering if all I need is mounting/balancing or will I need an alignment as well? Will I need an alignment after putting on new tires %26amp; wheels?
Unfortunately, you can't know if you need an alignment without setting it up on an alignment machine and checking it.

Personally, I would get it checked (and aligned if necessary) after putting on all new tires and wheels - it will simply prevent possible wear issues down the road. Will I need an alignment after putting on new tires %26amp; wheels?
