Anyone have suggestions for suspension lift kits, wheels, and tires for a 2004 Jeep Grand Cherokee that i plan to take off roading? Price is a big factor. I want some that works decent for a good price.Good lift kit, wheels, and tires off roading jeep grand cherokee?
If price and quality is a factor I would recommend http://kevinsoffroad.com/ I would also recommend checking out http://www.jeepsunlimited.com/forums/sho鈥?/a> this is a " sticky" in the Grand Cherokee section titled "Everything you need to know to lift your WJ" If your not a member of Jeepsunlimited.com or NAGCA.com I would register and start looking around for lift/tire combo's that you like..there are literally 1000's of pictures of lifted WJ's on there.
As for tires...I personally like the Firestone Destination M/T's. The price is right there with the BFG M/T's but the reviews are far superior to the other tires on tirerack.com last time I checked. As for my experience with these tires they can't be beat. My first set lasted to about 45K and that included many trips to the George Washington National Forest and beaches on the outer banks, a small Toyota Corolla bouncing (yes bouncing) off of the tire and cracking my rim. I am able to air them down to 8psi
