|||Over long periods of misuse your wheel bearings will eventually go bad from the oversized rims.
Otherwise no long term effect that wouldnt normally happen.
I just started working on this car so let me know how you like it.
It's a 04 Pontiac Grand Prix GT Supercharged with 20" rims and Nitrogen filled tires.
The tint is 20% and it has an air intake and inter cooling system just installed.
I just painted the hubs metallic to bring out the silver in the rims.

|||I am old school. 20' rims are ugly. You may be arrested by the fashion police.
I would not think that it would damage the car if the diameter of the original tires and the diameter of the new tires are the same or extremely close. It may mess up your speedometer. |||The following will all be affected by the larger wheels.
1. Wheel bearings.
2. Suspension.
3. Brakes.
4. Insurance rates.|||Hi,Hitting the wheel arch,it can be pretty pricy, also is it air bag suspension?good luck.
