can i put original 20" tires and wheels from a 2007 2wd avalanche on a 2005 z71 avalanche?2007 avalanche 2wd wheels %26amp; tires to a 29005 z71 av?
Yes you can if they have the same number of bolts...If either one of the avalances is a 2500 rather than a 1500 they will have a different bolt pattern...anything that is above a 1500 is considered an HD and they change the bolts on them.2007 avalanche 2wd wheels %26amp; tires to a 29005 z71 av?
is the bolt pattern is the same2007 avalanche 2wd wheels %26amp; tires to a 29005 z71 av?
I'm pretty sure you can. The bolt patterns should be the same on all avalanches. I used to have a '92 Honda Accord and I put some '94 Honda Prelude rims on it. They fit perfectly.
I own a shop, and ran across a website that you can pick your vehicle, wheels, and tires, and see what they will look like. It also gives you the wheels that will work.
An important thing to remember is; If a vehicle is 4 wheel drive, or all wheel drive (same thing) one does not want to mix %26amp; match wheels and tires. One reason is; you can damage the gearing in the vehicle. Another is; your computer will not know if one wheel is slipping or not, because it will see the wheels running at different speeds, thus it will try to correct the issue, but can not do so. If the tires %26amp; wheels from a 2 wheel drive are the same size as the tires %26amp; wheels on a 4 wheel drive, then there will be no problems. Don't use one size on the front, and another size on the back, as this will cause problems, and maybe even mechanical damage to the vehicle IF its an all wheel drive or 4 wheel drive.
Glad to help out, good Luck!!!
